Najia Yi Jing

   The “Najia assistant” program is the result of years of studies. It required collecting difficult to find Najia knowledge of complex interpretation. The main source was Alex Y. C. Chiu's website “Super I Ching”, that contains hundreds of practical examples. Unfortunately, Mr. Chiu way of presenting the subject is neither linear nor clear as he relays on a web of overlaying rules to be memorised.

   In designing the program flow I was forced to refer to other different scattered sources on individual issue. I cannot claim to have reached a complete transposition of the Najia system, but I hope at least to provide the user with an “assistant” able to carry out the correct hexagram setting procedure and a deciphering instrument able to reveal the most common relation between singe lines and date.

   Since I am amateur programmer I used a simple basic compiler software, hoping  to encourage a more experienced programmer to take on the task of writing a better software. The program was aimed not to be fancy or provide a graphical interface, rather to produce a textual reading that can be analysed by the user in a later moment.
